Four athletes from Malta became vice-champions at the last Kudo World Championship 2023 in Tokyo!

In two days of competition, having gone through 1/8, 1/4, semi-finals and finals, the athletes of the Malta national team won four awards. Another one became the 4th in one of the most prestigious and filled categories

• Milana Manilova2nd place, U13, – 52kg
• Zukhra Abdukhamidova2nd place, U16, – 63kg
• Marina Natalia Gusarov2nd place, U19, – 215PI
• Khasan Abdukhamidov2nd place, U16, – 95kg
• Nichita Mazurchevici4th place, U16, – 68kg

The whole team, together with the coaches, went through many months of preparation, coped well with the excitement, fulfilled all the instructions and exceeded all expectations.

We congratulate all the athletes and fans on the outstanding performance of the Malta national team, the first in the history of Kudo. The next time the World Championship will be held in four years, we will start preparing for it this season.
